Just got my copy from Amazon of Barnett's "Blueprint for Action" - can't wait to read it! Even the introduction has me 'hooked'.
Work is overwhelming - so much to do that it is spilling over into evenings and weekends - coupled with some major global initiatives that I fear will mean too much travel.
Finally got the photos on CD from our summer trip (wife has learning Quicktime authoring skills to create movies for far flung family members). I plan to get some photos up soon and post about the summer trip - as well as a few shots of the recent Sukkot holiday.
Wasted far too much time trying to troubleshoot a problem on a 350 MHz iMac (won't boot or even recognize a bootable CD - I am guessing that a failed OS-X upgrade reset the screen resolution and that will require disassembling the whole thing and connecting an external monitor - perhaps I will leave that to my son when he gets a bit older... 7 years old is a bit young to be working with high voltage CRTs).
Getting ready for winter here - getting house winterized (swap screens for storms, check weatherstripping on doors), new tires for car (before the first snow flies), fired up the fireplaces, still waiting on the corn stove part as well as two tons of corn (fuel), bought some winter clothes (gloves for kids and myself), soon we'll put the winter tires on the minivan, put the winter wiper blades on and buy some more driveway snow shovels. I really do love the change of seasons - the bite of cold morning air and the incredible colors of the trees as the chlorophyll heads south.
